Textile Study of Buster's Impact, 19 ¾" × 27 ½"

$595.00

Original Textile Artifact from the Costume Design Process

Created from materials used during the development of Buster's costume, this one-of-a-kind textile artwork preserves a moment of experimentation from the costume shop's prototyping process.

At its center is a leather sample taken directly from the jacket build, manipulated and distressed to explore the character's impact effect. The leather is layered over fabric swatches gathered throughout the design process, transforming production materials into a permanent record of theatrical craftsmanship and discovery.

Originally created as a technical study, the piece documents the collaboration between designer and costume shop as they developed the visual language of the garment. Paint, texture, and material intervention reveal traces of experimentation that would normally remain hidden behind the finished costume.

Part design artifact, part contemporary textile artwork, this framed piece offers a rare glimpse into the making of a theatrical production and preserves a fragment of the creative process itself.

Materials: Leather from the costume build, production fabric swatches, paint, textile treatments
Frame Size: 19 ¾ × 27 ½ in.
